Despite this reputation, the jet ski experience on the open Pattaya Bay with the city skyline behind and Ko Lan visible in the distance remains one of the most physically exhilarating activities available on the Thai Gulf coast.

Parasailing Pattaya Bay
Parasailing over Pattaya Bay, towed behind a speedboat at 100-150 metres altitude, provides the most elevated panoramic view of the Pattaya resort landscape available from any activity — the combination of the city skyline visible behind, the Ko Lan island group visible to the west, and the Gulf of Thailand extending to the south creates the most comprehensive single-view encounter with the Pattaya coastal geography. Wake Park Pattaya
Pattaya Wake Park (formerly Surf House Pattaya) provides cable wakeboarding on a purpose-built lake east of the city — the cable tow system that pulls wakeboarders around the lake perimeter allows riders to practise tricks on the ramps and obstacles installed in the lake without the expense and inconvenience of a boat. The wake park is one of the most popular activity destinations for the Thai domestic tourism market in Pattaya, particularly young Thai visitors from Bangkok for whom wakeboarding is an aspirational sport, and the park's presence demonstrates the breadth of the Pattaya water sports market beyond the beach-based activities.

Scuba Diving Pattaya
Pattaya's dive sites in the Gulf of Thailand offer accessible diving within easy boat distance of the city — the wrecks of the HTMS Kut and HTMS Khram (Royal Thai Navy vessels deliberately sunk as artificial reefs) at depths of 20-30 metres are the premier dive sites in the Pattaya area, providing wreck diving with a resident community of fish and the coral growth that has colonised the steel structures since they were sunk.
