Ibn Battuta Airport
Tangier's airport is 15 km from the city and receives international and domestic flights. The new terminal is modern and efficient. Taxis to the medina are fixed-price and take about 20 minutes.

Tangier Med Ferry Terminal
The main ferry port 40 km east of the city connects to Algeciras (Spain), Tarifa (Spain) and Genoa (Italy). Shuttle buses connect it to the city center and train station.

Tangier Ville Train Station
A modern high-speed rail station connects Tangier to Rabat in 70 minutes and Casablanca in under two hours. Trains to Fez, Marrakech and Meknes are comfortable and reliable.

Converted traditional houses in the medina have become charming boutique guesthouses. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and the experience of sleeping inside the old city is unique.

Shared grand taxis depart from the main taxi stand for Tetouan, Asilah and other northern towns throughout the day. They are fast, cheap and the authentic way to travel between northern Moroccan cities.
