Coral Bay, 150 km south of Exmouth, has the most accessible manta ray snorkelling in Ningaloo — the resident population feeds in the lagoon year-round, and glass-bottom boat tours locate the rays before snorkellers enter the water alongside them.

The manta ray cleaning station at Coral Bay is where mantas come to have parasites removed by small cleaner fish — the concentrated activity at the cleaning station makes this one of the most reliably productive manta snorkel locations in Ningaloo.

Bill's Bay at Coral Bay has a walk-in snorkel reef just 50 metres from shore — the shallow reef with its coral bommies and resident fish is where the Ningaloo reef comes closest to a beach, making it the most accessible reef in the marine park.
